NBC's The Voice-winner ALISAN PORTER brings a special intimate concert to celebrate "HOME OF THE HOLIDAYS" at Catalina Jazz Club in the heart of Hollywood, CA. Live! Fri, Dec 22nd at 8:30pm. Dinner begins at 7:00pm. An ode to the Holiday season, Mr. Porter will perform beloved Holiday songs as well as audience favorites from The Voice, and her own penned originals. Inspired by Broadway belters, Ms. Porter began developing her vocal skills early in life. She debuted on Star Search at age 5 singing "Over the Rainbow", has performed on Broadway in "A Chorus Line", and went on to starring roles in Television and Film; including the John Hughes 1991 classic "Curly Sue". As her own music developed, Alisan fell in love with works by artists Joni Mitchell, Linda Ronstadt, Pat Benatar, Patty Griffin, Mariah Carey, and more. These artists and her experience on the Great White Way influenced her own songwriting.
