Gloria Hendry, Born in Florida, raised in Newark and Jersey City, New Jersey, and lived in New York, New York, they named it twice, and now sunny California. Gloria is an American actress, singer, model, author, producer, director, best known as a BOND LADY, Rosie Carver, in 007 “Live & Let Die,” with Legendary ROGER MOORE. Ted Turner recognized that six of Hendry’s films are Turner Classics: “Black Caesar” with Legendary Fred Williamson; “Black Belt Jones,” with Legendary Jim Kelly of Bruce Lee’s Enter of the Dragon; “Slaughter’s Big Rip-Off II, with Legendary Jim Brown; “Savage Sisters, Starring Gloria Hendry;” and a SAG Nominated film, “Across 110th Street,” with legendary Anthony Quinn and Yaphet Kotto and others. FYI, Hendry spent six youthful years as a Bunny at the New York Playboy Club, where Legendary director, Daniel Mann, asked her “to be in his film, “For Love of Ivy,”Starring Sidney Poitier and Abbey Lincoln. The rest is history. Her honor awards are from Sony Pictures, Essence Magazine, African American Critics’ Award, A Dragon Award by Urban Action, and a Nollywood Award and SPECTRE’s “A Tribute to Black Women of Bond Films.”
